The third workshop for Roma associations from the City of Slavonski Brod

On 25 April 2016 the third of eight workshops for Roma associations from Slavonski Brod was held in community building Josip Rimac.

The theme of the workshop was "Strategic Planning" and was attended by nine members of the most active Roma organizations.

During the workshop, participants were informed of the importance of strategic planning as a tool that helps them to better manage associations. They were informed about the steps they need to do in order to make the planning more successful. Through working groups, the visions and missions of some organizations were defined, which will help them in further strengthening and work.

In the second part of the workshop, participants were explained the concept of a SWOT analysis as well as its application in the functioning of the association. For better adoption of theoretical knowledge, the participants created specified analysis through group work. Analysis of the working groups were presented to all participants of the workshop. The members of the associations who attended the workshop expressed their satisfaction with the workshop.

The workshop for Roma associations from the City of Slavonski Brod was organized by ILC in collaboration with partners in the project - HILS from Osijek, Brod – Posavina County and the Network of Roma associations in Croatia through the "Legal inclusion and sustainable integration of Roma in Croatia", which is financed by the European Union from IPA 2012 and co-financed by the Office for Cooperation with CSOs..
