The third meeting of national partners in the IPA 2012 project

The third meeting of national partners in the IPA 2012 project "Legal inclusion and sustainable integration of Roma in Croatia" was held on 27 July 2016.

The meeting was held in the premises of Brod-Posavina County  in Slavonski Brod. It was attended by all project partners:  IPC (Project Manager Natasa Kovacevic, Project Coordinator Sanja Beslic-Kozmus), HILS (Project Coordinator Ina Lang), Brod-Posavina County (Project Coordinator Dubravka Knezevic) and Network of Roma associations in Croatia (Project Coordinator Nikola Destanovic).

During the meeting the partners have discussed implementation of follow-up activities, namely those relating to the establishment of the Coordination of the Councils of National Minorities and the creation of the Action Plan for Roma. We additionally discussed the challenges and potential difficulties that could be encountered during the implementation of project activities in the coming period. During the meeting it was agreed that the cooperation with the Committee for Human Rights and National Minorities of Brod-Posavina County will be set up. Furthermore, partners discussed the activities carried out and the importance of timely reporting.

It was organised within the project "Legal inclusion and sustainable integration of Roma in Croatia", which is financed by the European Union from the program IPA 2012 "Strengthening the capacity of civil society organizations to ensure the effective implementation of EU standards in the realization of human rights" and co-financed by the Government Office for Cooperation with NGOs.
