The Regional Forum “Improving the status of vulnerable groups – good practices of data collection” was held on 5 December 2016 at hotel Waldinger in Osijek. It was organized by Centre for Peace, Non-Violence and Human Rights - Osijek and national partners from Information Legal Centre from Slavonski Brod  and Serbian Democratic Forum from Pakrac.

Guests of the Regional Forum were representatives of the Ombudsman  office in Osijek, City of Osijek, Croatian employment service, members of the local expert teams/platforms and representatives of civil society organizations actively involved in the implementation of project activities.

On this occasion, the final analysis „Monitoring the implementation of anti-discrimination law focused on improving the status of vulnerable groups on the local level: 8 studies“ was presented as a result of research implemented by collaborating civil society  organisations from six cities within three counties.

Communication between the civil and public sector about the status and problems in the implementation of anti-discrimination law, as well as good practices and challenges in data collection, was continued during the Regional Forum.

Regional Forum is one of the activities that Information Legal Centre is conducting within the two-year project "Civil society for responsible management" funded by the European Union from IPA 2011 „Strengthening Support to Civil Society Organizations for Increasing Transparency and Good Governance Public Administration in Croatia“.
